Hazel Class really enjoyed learning about the Romans this Spring term. We learnt about how the Romans invaded Britain, the tactics and strategies they used to achieve great success and how the Romans eventually left Britain.. We also visited the Verulamium Museum in St Albans and created beautiful mosaics on our History immersion day.
Hazel Class had their own special Roman Immersion Day this term. We all dressed up as Romans and did some fun activities. We discussed and debated the most important legacies the Romans left for us today. We also studied mosaics and created our own pieces based on Roman styles and patterns. We also did some drama based on Roman life.
