Sycamore class visited the Living Nativity at Lambeth Palace to share in the ‘Journey to Bethlehem’ as part of their RE learning for this half term.
They met a Wise Man, The Traveller with her donkeys, Zechariah and the Angel in the Temple, a shepherdess and her sheep and finally Mary getting ready for her baby.
At each point they heard the story from actors and were invited to ask questions. Each person gave the pupils an item for their story sack to help them recount the journey.
The children had such an enjoyable immersive experience.
