This half-term Hazel’s focus was on the theme of pattern. We were inspired by the art of Sarah Morris and Tomma Abts, both specialists in pattern and colour. We created our own repeating patterns with lino printing, using polystyrene templates. We also studied Frida Kahlo’s self-portraits with a view to creating our own.
