Oak Class looked at the work of Frida Kahlo as inspiration for their portraits. We also used tessellating patterns to make our repeated backgrounds. We painted the background with acrylic paints and used pencils for our portraits.
Oak Class also looked at the proportions of our faces and used a mirror to help us sketch an image of our face.
