Anna, an interactive storyteller worked with members from Claremont Community Centre in Islington and Hazel class for an afternoon discovering the wonders of The Golden Fleece, from Greek mythology.
She wrote after the event – It was really wonderful to meet you, the staff and your wonderful pupils today at Claremont! Thank you so much for getting right into the storytelling and dancing and singing! The members really loved the pupils and I must say I was struck by their sensitivity and kindness, one of your pupils even went up to the people who expressed their ‘golden fleece’ wishes at the beginning of the story and said they hoped their wishes would come true!! They really took everything to heart.
